Big Decision Energy: Maintaining Trust in the Age of AI
This month, we are diving into all things AI and security with the launch of our ISO 42001 Implementation Guide. Read on for tips on building a compliance-ready AI Management System, intros to our newest team members, and the latest CMMC 2.0 update.
Need to Align Your AI with ISO 42001? Our Guide is Here.
AI adoption is accelerating across every sector, but for organizations managing third-party risk, the real question isn’t what can AI do?—it’s what risks are you introducing by using it? Without the right guardrails, the answer is clear: the risk outweighs the reward.
For vendors and solution providers, this creates a tough reality: no matter how powerful your AI tool is, you won’t win deals unless you can prove it’s trustworthy. That’s where ISO 42001 comes in.
Our ISO 42001 Implementation Guide walks you through building a compliance-ready AI Management System (AIMS) that demonstrates security, transparency, and control so that you can maintain client trust and reduce risk.

Big News: CMMC Final Rule is Here
On September 10, 2025, the Department of Defense released the Final Rule rolling CMMC into DFARS. Starting November 10, 2025, CMMC requirements will begin appearing in every defense contract and solicitation.
Here’s the bottom line: if you want to win government contracts, CMMC certification is no longer optional.
And the ripple effect is already hitting the market. Even companies outside the defense space are losing deals because government contractors refuse to take on the risk of working with non-compliant vendors.
CMMC is no longer just a government requirement. It’s a market expectation.
